Privacy & affiliate disclosure
Last updated 19 July 2026
Tadej Today is a one-person, fan-run news tracker. We keep this deliberately short and honest: the only things that ever set a cookie are Google ads and affiliate links, and only after you say yes. We don't sell anything about you, and the news itself is never for sale. Here's exactly what happens when you use the site.
Who runs this site
Tadej Today is an independent site run by a single cycling fan. It is not affiliated with Tadej Pogačar, UAE Team Emirates-XRG, the UCI, or any of the outlets we link to. Questions, corrections or privacy requests: tadejtodaycom@gmail.com.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links to shops and retailers on this site are affiliate links, served through the affiliate network Awin and its advertisers. If you click one and go on to buy something, the retailer may pay us a small commission. It costs you nothing extra — the price is exactly the same as going to the shop directly.
This never touches the news. The headlines we show, the order we show them in, and the outlets we link to are chosen purely on what's newest and most relevant to Pogačar fans. We are never paid to feature, rank or omit a news story. Affiliate links only ever appear on clearly commercial links (gear, kit, shops) — never on a link to a news article, which always goes straight to the publisher that wrote it.
Cookies
We use as few cookies as we can get away with, and none of them load until you accept the cookie banner on your first visit:
- Audience measurement. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) to count page views. It sets no cookies and does not track you across other sites, so it runs regardless of your choice.
- Advertising (Google AdSense). If you accept, we show ads served by Google AdSense to help cover the site's costs. Google may set cookies to measure and personalise those ads, as described in Google's advertising policy. If you decline, the ad script is never loaded and these cookies are never set.
- Affiliate cookies. If you accept and then click an affiliate/shop link, Awin and the retailer may set a cookie so the sale can be credited to us. It costs you nothing extra.
You control the advertising and affiliate cookies with the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your mind at any time:
What we collect about you
Effectively nothing personal. There are no accounts, no logins and no newsletter sign-up, so we don't ask for your name or email. We don't store your reading history. Our analytics only ever see aggregated, anonymous numbers (how many people viewed a page), never who you are. The one exception is our ad provider: if you allow ads, Google may process data about your visit under its own policy in order to serve them — that happens on Google's side, and we never receive or store it ourselves.
Links to other sites
Tadej Today is a front page, not a destination: nearly every link sends you to another website — a news publisher, a retailer, or Pogačar's own social accounts. Once you leave, that site's own privacy policy and cookies apply, and we have no control over them.
Your rights & choices
Because we don't collect personal data, there's usually nothing about you for us to show, change or delete. You can always decline affiliate cookies, clear cookies in your browser, or use a tracker-blocker — the site works fine either way. If you're in the EU/UK and have a privacy question, email us at tadejtodaycom@gmail.com and we'll help.
Changes to this page
If how we handle affiliate links or cookies changes, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here rather than emailed, since we don't hold any email addresses.
